Founded in 1976, Atlantic-Inland Inc. is an inspection firm specializing in electrical inspections throughout New York State and was incorporated in 1977. National Grid Power Corporation, New York State Electric and Gas Corporation, Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation, and many smaller utility companies serving the State of New York recognize our inspections.

In 1982, with the inception of the regulations regarding building and fire code inspections, we expanded our operation to include not only electrical inspections but also building and fire inspections in accordance with the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.

In 2022, we decided to return to our origins and dissolve the building construction inspection division.

Our services are provided over twenty professional inspectors who are highly trained in the electrical field. We offer customers a timely inspection schedule and great customer service.

An electrical installation inspection is generated from application to step-by-step inspections documented and followed by an electrical certificate upon completion and compliance. Copies of these documents are issued to the applicant and the municipal office. The best inspection addressing each element of the installation can only benefit when the information obtained is conveyed to the appropriate individuals or departments. This is best accomplished with open communication. We pride ourselves on simply facilitating this effort.

As a standard practice, Atlantic-Inland Inc. requires all wiring to meet the standards of the National Electrical Code and any other applicable codes presently specified by a municipality, county, or electric utility. We take full responsibility to ensure that all inspectors comply with Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. Our inspectors have the training, experience, and technical expertise to perform these duties, with several individuals exceeding these standards.

We have been in the electrical field for over forty eight years and are continually participating in continuing education programs as students and training personnel. Through our experience and strive to be actively current in the electrical industry, we feel we are an asset to any community.
